Create, Sale, and Grow ANY Business Online - Part 1

Updated: Oct 8

Introduction

Creating and selling a business has never been easier. Whether you're an entrepreneur looking to start your first business or a seasoned veteran looking for new opportunities, there are millions of dollars to be made with the right product in today's digital economy.

This guide will show you how to create, sale, and grow any business on the web using my tried-and-true methodologies that have helped me do just that over the last 10 years.

Create - a Business Online

If you want to make money with your knowledge, or if you want to start a brick and mortar business, this is for you. In order to create a business online, you need four things:

Domains and Business Email

Domains are the cornerstone of your online presence. They're what people will use to find you, whether it's through Google, Facebook, or Twitter. The domain is also what makes up the URL for your website (e.g., www.iamshontaylor.com).

Your domain should be short and memorable so that people can easily say and recall it when referring to your business―and when you register a new domain name, it's often free or very cheap! You can set up email addresses with related names as well, like shon@iamshontaylor.com.

As soon as possible after creating a company name (or even before), we recommend registering your desired .com address with a registrar such as Namecheap. Namecheap provides domains, emails, VPNs, and hosting.

Unlimited Graphic Design and Video Graphics

Believe it or not, a visual image can communicate a message better than words.

Why? Because we have something called "the brain." And the brain is made for images! (That's why we have eyes.) Lol

You already know why graphics are important.

Must have graphics:

Build a Website

Once you have your idea, it's time to create a website. The best way to start is by using a platform like Shopify that allows you to set up an online store in less than an hour. When choosing your theme (the overall look and feel of the site) keep in mind that this will be the first thing people see when they visit your website so make sure it reflects who you are and what kind of business you're running. Once your theme is chosen, add content such as pictures or videos, write descriptions for each product or service offered on the site, fill out contact details and add social media links (so people can follow/subscribe).

Conclusion

There you have it, a list of the best tools to help you grow your business. We hope that this post helps you navigate through the confusing world of marketing and sales. If for some reason these tools aren’t working for you or if there is another tool that we forgot about then please let us know so we can update our list!
